From football and basketball to table tennis and chess, our teams compete in inter-university leagues across Tashkent. And if competition isn't your thing, our fitness sessions and recreational clubs are the perfect way to unwind after lectures.

TIU's sports facilities are available to all students free of charge. Whether you want a quick workout or a full training session, everything is on campus and easy to access.
How to get involved
Getting started is easy — no tryouts, no pressure. Just show up.
Check the schedule
Training times and sessions are posted on the LMS portal and the sports noticeboard in Building B.
Turn up
Most sessions are open to everyone. Just come to the sports hall at the listed time — no registration needed.
Join a team
If you want to compete, speak to the team captain or the Sports Coordinator to join the official squad.
Sports FAQs
Not at all. Our sports teams welcome all skill levels. Recreational sessions are open to complete beginners, and competitive squads hold regular training to help you improve.
Yes. All on-campus sports facilities are free for enrolled TIU students. Just bring your student ID card to access the sports hall and fitness area.
Most team training sessions are held in the evenings (17:00–20:00) on weekdays. The fitness area is open Monday–Saturday, 08:00–21:00. Check the LMS portal for the latest schedule.
Yes. If you have at least 5 interested students, you can propose a new team through the Student Union. The Sports Coordinator will help you get set up with training slots and equipment.
