Dual Diploma Programme
Study two years at TIU and two years abroad — graduate with two fully recognized degrees from two countries.
The 2 + 2 model. Double the opportunity.
TIU's Dual Diploma Programme is our flagship international pathway. You spend your first two years studying at TIU in Tashkent and then transfer to a partner university abroad for your final two years. Upon completion, you receive two bachelor's degrees — one from TIU and one from the partner institution — both fully recognized in Uzbekistan and internationally.
The curriculum at each university is carefully aligned so that your studies build on each other. You gain a strong academic foundation at TIU before deepening your specialization abroad, giving you the best of both worlds: local roots and global credentials.
The Dual Diploma Programme is ideal for ambitious students who want an international career advantage without starting from scratch at a foreign university.
How the 2 + 2 programme works
Four years, two countries, two degrees — here's how your journey unfolds.
Year 1 at TIU
Build your academic foundation with core courses taught in English at TIU's Tashkent campus.
Year 2 at TIU
Deepen your knowledge, prepare for the transition abroad, and finalize your partner university placement.
Year 3 abroad
Transfer to your partner university. Begin advanced coursework in your major while immersed in a new culture.
Year 4 — graduate
Complete your final year, defend your thesis or capstone, and graduate with two internationally recognized degrees.
Why choose the Dual Diploma?
The programme is designed to give you every advantage as you enter the global job market.
Two degrees
Graduate with a diploma from TIU and a diploma from the partner university — both recognized in Uzbekistan and abroad.
Cost-effective
Pay TIU tuition for two years and partner rates for two years — significantly cheaper than four years abroad.
Language skills
Two years studying and living abroad dramatically improve your English and may add a third language to your profile.
Global perspective
Experience two educational systems and cultures. This breadth of perspective is exactly what multinational employers seek.
Employer recognition
Holding two degrees from two countries signals adaptability, resilience, and ambition — qualities every employer values.
Pathway to further study
Your partner university degree opens doors to master's programmes in Europe, Asia, and beyond without additional equivalency steps.
